Ryan L. Church

Summary

Ryan L. Church focuses his practice on employment and general litigation. Prior to joining Palmer, Lombardi & Donohue LLP, Mr. Church worked in the litigation, public entity, and education law groups of a general practice firm based in San Diego. Mr. Church regularly litigated cases in state, federal, administrative, and tribal courts. He has obtained numerous dispositive rulings on anti-SLAPP motions, summary judgments, demurrers, and motions to dismiss. Additionally, Mr. Church managed the firm’s Native American Law practice where he represented tribes throughout California. He was also an attorney for both the United States Department of the Interior and a major international law firm in Washington, D.C.

Mr. Church is admitted to practice law in California, Connecticut and Washington, D.C.

Education

Mr. Church received his Bachelor of Arts degree from Loyola Marymount University, Los Angeles where he graduated cum laude. He received his Juris Doctorate degree from Temple University School of Law in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania. During law school, he was the Articles Editor for the Temple Law Review.

Honors and Awards

Mr. Church was a member of the 2003-2004 United States Department of the Interior, Solicitor’s Honors Program in Washington, D.C. Mr. Church is also a contributing author of ABC-CLIO, Treaties with American Indians: An Encyclopedia of Rights, Conflicts, and Sovereignty as well as ABC-CLIO, Encyclopedia of American Indian History.
